The Client’s Brief:

D&AD (British Design & Art Direction) is a professional association representing the UK’s design and advertising industry. Each year it runs its prestigious Yellow Pencil awards competition.

The client wanted an efficient, fair and flexible competition system, using Apple Macs as the platform. We were asked to provide the underlying data modelling for new competition management software.

Our Solution:

Our requirements analysis revealed that the data model and the new application should be extended to include the organisation’s contact and membership management systems and the data modelling was extended to include these.
